Dear “Cornhole for & Concert for Charity” players!

We are so excited to see you this coming Saturday for the Safe Harbor of Chester County’s “Cornhole and Concert for Charity” Fundraiser presented by Pat Loew. I wanted to take a moment to answer a few questions and explain a few procedures that we will be following on the day. Firstly, please note that I will be adding your names and cell numbers to our pre-registration website this week. It will automatically send you a text from SHCC2022. Please allow these texts so that you can stay informed before, during, and after the event. This is a very secure website and your info will never be sold! Also, if you can send me the name, email address, and cell phone of your playing partners or have them contact me at david@safeharborofcc.org This will expedite checking in on Saturday

As a reminder, all our vendors are donating a portion of their proceeds to Safe Harbor! We are excited to have Buddy’s Burgers, and Locust Lane Craft Brewery onsite for our event. There will also be soft drinks available for purchase.

 DATE: “Rain or Shine!” – This coming Saturday, April 30.

 ADDRESS: The American Helicopter Museum at 1220 American Boulevard, West Chester, PA

 PARKING: On-Site and free!

 CHECK-IN: 2-3 PM Check-In, & Warm-up (Maybe you could buy lunch too?) PLEASE arrive early so you can park, check in, and be on time to hear the tournament rules at 3 PM.

 CONCERT ONLY?: The band is going to start at 3:30! (You are welcome to come anytime!)

 TOURNAMENT: Instructions will be given at 3 PM and play will begin immediately afterward. This is a double-elimination tournament and should be completed by 6 PM. BTW the court distance is regulation so practice at 27 feet! (Most of us use a shorter course in the backyard!)

 YOU SHOULD BRING: Your Cell Phone to use the electronic scoring system and to register for the Virtual Auction! Also, think positive but keep an eye on the sky, because our event is rain or shine. HOWEVER, we have secured an indoor aircraft hangar in case the weather turns on us.  All vendors accept Cash, CC, or Debit for food & Beverage.

 YOU SHOULD WEAR: Good shoes and comfortable outdoor clothes!

 YOU SHOULD REMEMBER: This is a fun tournament! Let’s not take gameplay too seriously!

 AWARDS CEREMONY: Fun awards for 1st, 2nd & 3rd place are handed out after the tournament.

 VIRTUAL AUCTION: We will be kicking off our weeklong Virtual Auction on Saturday 4/30 at Noon and it will conclude on Saturday 5/7 at 9 PM. You can preview a few of the items at the event! Plus, we will have people on hand to help get you registered to bid on great items like Golf Outings, Artwork, “Date Night Packages” & even a trip to Mexico with Airfare included!  SCORING APP: Go ahead and download the app called “Scoreholio” from your app store onto your phone. We will be using it on Saturday to keep score and send messages to you throughout the day to let you know when it is your turn to play.

 

THE BAND: is “The Midnight Hour Band” and they will be playing throughout the day and will be jamming past the tournament. We are hoping you will stay and enjoy the music with us! They will wrap up around 6 PM.
